I would suggest create an ebook in your niche. I know this terrifies you. But you can quickly compile some PLR articles into a free e-book. About 10 articles could be a good number. But see that all the articles are related in some way and useful to the reader.

While creating the ebook, put an add at the beginning and at the end of the ebook for your newsletter. I would also suggest to throw a link in the footer of the ebook. Never buy any software to create ebooks. You can easily create PDFs using OpenOffice application which is FREE.
