How To Start An Online Business With Limited Budget

Many people do a mistake in their online business – trying to do a hard selling.  It’s not the case that it doesn’t work but it is not effective for long term benefits.

If you have a list of prospects who support you, then you certainly control your future. In this article I am going to explain you, how a successful online business works.

This is how a successful online business works

Visitors –> Offer a FREE Gift –> Opt-in Page –> Opt-in Confirmation –> Deliver Gift –> Build Relation Ship –> Share Good Content On a Consistent Basis –> Sell To List –> Share Good Content On a Consistent Basis

Not having a lot of money to start an online business should not limit you to venturing out on your own. Although you do need some money upfront, it’s a fairly small investment that won’t break your bank account.

So, what exactly do you need to get your online business up and running fairly quickly?

Well, you’ll need to have your market in mind and plan what you want to have for sale in the long run – either your products or other’s products. You also want to have a clear idea as to the information that you’re going to make available on your website or blog on a consistent basis. See the above flow. Quality content is King.

First you should have a decent domain name. For example, if you sell gardening tools then the keyword should be in the domain name. You get a sense of who your target market is while knowing what’s offered on your site prior to even going there. You can buy a domain at namecheap.com or GoDaddy.com

Next you’ll need a hosting account. You need to make your site visible on the web so you’ll need to purchase a monthly hosting package. One word of advice, never build your site or try to make money online using a free hosting account. You’re building a business that could potentially do very well in the future. You don’t want to risk losing everything by hosting it on a free account. Invest a little money monthly because you’re building a business not a hobby site.

Your domain is usually a yearly fee that can be in the price range of $2 – $15 for one year. And hosting can range from $3 up to around $14.99 per month. It really depends on the company you use and what offers and discounts they are making available at any given time. But going with a company is pretty simple especially if you’re just starting out. You can purchase both your domain and monthly hosting package from them.

After you have your domain and hosting packages you can begin to design your website. Of course you can outsource the designing as this will ease the pressures of having to do it yourself. However, if you’re on a tight budget and don’t have the funds to hire someone, you can do it yourself. But that would also mean that you’ll be doing your own copywriting as well. So, look online for some good resources to help you with your sales page.

Also, if you’re a member of my weekly newsletter, you can also access some videos and free templates there. But practicing your craft and doing it yourself can work to your advantage. Not only will you be able to duplicate the process again for your next project, but you’ll also be making yourself more marketable and could also offer your services doing it for others.

In the next article, I’ll share exactly what web editor you should use to build your website. But guess what, it’s free! So, if you’re on a limited budget and have limited web design skills, no worries this is one of the easiest tools to use.

Cheers
