Probably you may say ‘word green’ or ‘green color’

Well, my question is ‘which green color did you experience?’ There are over 1000 shades of green.  If you and I can distinguish 1000 shades of green then the possibility of what I mean by ‘green’ and what you understand by ‘green’ is same, is one in a thousand.

Tell me, which green did you experience when you recall ‘green’. The green color of a grass? The green of your carpet? The green of a leaf you saw in your childhood?

The meaning of green may be imprinted in your mind when some authority figure like your father, mother, brother or teacher had shown you something and told ‘this is green’ when you were ready to learn.

The bottom line of this story is that there is no meaning for language without experience.

Let me prove it now.

“Just remember the smell of a freshly brewed coffee…”

Now describe the above sentence without referring to any experience related to coffee, drinking coffee or seeing coffee and by reading at your description at least one should be able to identify that you are explaining about coffee.

According to linguists this task will take at least 10000 words, if you are an expert linguist.

Now how beautiful it is to say ‘remember the smell of freshly brewed coffee’ and the corresponding experience is triggered. The task is done with out using 10000 words.

You, as a hypnotic writer, should identify the experiences related to the results you want and trigger them using the emotional words.

In the above example, remembering the experience of drinking fresh coffee is the target experience and the triggering words are ‘the smell of a freshly brewed coffee’.
